As we start on our stay safe programme we focused on our friends. We wrote a class acrostic poem about FRIENDS:

⏰ We are working on time again this week and have progressed well on our digital and analog clocks. We need lots of practice- so take out those alarm clocks and practice reading the time. We looked at our local bus timetable too and we have been watching out for the Derry- Galway bus as it passes our school. We played a Kahoot quiz on time so well done to the winners!
👕 👗 To go along with the theme of our novel ‘Bill’sNew Frock’ we have designed some “frocks” and jerseys using a wide range of fabrics. There are some talented designers here! Lovely patters and designs. We tried our hand at some weaving too which was a lovely way to focus and use our time creatively. 2nd and 3rd designed fish , while 4th were weaving their own patterns.
☘️We have started our marching practice for the St.Patrick’s Day parade and all of the classes are making a great effort to have their tunes off by heart. Thanks to Fionnuala for guiding us as we get ready for the big day! We will be organising the band uniforms soon too.
