This week with 2nd, 3rd and 4th
23rd Oct 2025
How the weeks have flown since our return to school.
It's hard to believe it's almost Halloween! π
This week in Maths, we were learning about data.
We completed a whole class survey on eye colour and used our data to compile a pictogram.
After we analysed the information, we were able to answer various questions based on our data.
In Science, we continued our classification of materials into solids, liquids and gases and we also investigated which materials can dissolve in water.
On Monday, we also got an opportunity to practice our tin whistles. Well done children on all your practising. It's definitely paying off! π΅πΆ
In Geography, we were learning about the different types of houses around the world and how climate types have impacted house design.
After some discussion, the children got a chance to select their own personal favourites.
On Tuesday, it was the turn of third and fourth class to participate in Lego Club and Wednesday was Reading Buddies for the whole school.
Well done children on another busy week.
Enjoy your well deserved mid term break.
Keep up all the great reading and have lots of Halloween fun! πππ»ποΈπΈοΈ
