It was lovely to welcome all the children back after the Easter break 😀. We are lucky to have Ms Kearins this week and next on her teaching placement. The children enjoyed making puppets in art and our very first gymnastics lesson! We also did ball skills in pe too. After the infants go home 1st class still have activities and lessons to do and this week the children were learning about Mary Seacole in history , they placed her life story events into a timeline. Another activity the children in 1st class were able to explore was how different materials could float or sink. They had to predict and then test. We used our ipad session to use chatterkids app to record events in the life of Mary Seacole. 1st class are very good at using this app now so they will be able to show the infants how to use it in the coming weeks.
