The Middle Classroom
30th May 2026
We had a gardening theme to our work this week.
In our english writing, we focused on our procedural genre recapping how to sow sunflowers for our school garden.
In Art, we continued this theme by looking and responding to Vincent Van Gogh's famous sunflower masterpiece. We then tried drawing our own versions.π»
In Science, the children presented their animal projects. Well done everyone and great to see presentations delivered with growing confidence.
Last week, we also researched bees in honour of World Bee Day. Did you know it takes the work of 300 bees to make one jar of honey! ππ
On Thursday, we took a trip to the Community Centre to view our display work for the 75th Anniversary.
Well done everyone, another good week.
A very memorable one!
Enjoy the long weekend everyone. π
