It was another busy week in the Middle Classroom. We continued our safety lessons and our topic this week was bullying. We listened to poems and stories and learned a very important strategy to help us deal with difficult situations. We say no. We walk away. We tell. We keep telling. The children also completed worksheets to accompany these lessons.
In Maths, we used our short week to revise over our different topics covered earlier in the term. This helped us to iron out any remaining problems. We also had some fun on the ipads and played some number dice games. Yesterday to celebrate Pancake Tuesday we got to sample some tasty pancakes. Yum! Thank you to Farah and Abdullah for bringing us in some delicious chocolate treats.
Today we visited the library and enjoyed some reading time. We have also been very busy practicing our music this week. Well done children.
Today was both Ash Wednesday and the start of Ramadan. We listened to Farah and Abdullah as they shared information to us about Ramadan.
The children from First and Second had fun in Lego Club too!
