In Maths, we have been learning about area. Second class were estimating and measuring how many bricks and playing cards it would take to measure surfaces. Great team work and cooperation skills were displayed during these activities. We also used the ipads and some dice games to practise our tables and have some fun too! In History, we have been learning about The Stone Age. We combined History, Art and IT to complete our projects.
We continued with our band practice during the week and everyone is trying their best learning their marches. Keep it up !
In P.E, we used some of our new footballs to practise our soccer skills. Great dribbling and passing were on show. On Friday, we honoured St.Brigid. We listened to the story of St. Brigid's cloak and also made crosses to bring home. Thank you to Ava, Donal and Holly for their great help.
We finished our week with Show and Tell. Thank you to Donnacha, Noah and Maxsim for sharing their games and toys with us. We really enjoyed it. 👏🙂
