This week the junior and senior infants continued their work on pattern in maths. We made lots of different patterns and senior infants were identifying the unit of repeat. The children in 1st class began some Christmas science- by dissolving candy canes! We put one in water and 1 in vinegar and predicted which would dissolve first. Most of us predicted vinegar would make the candy dissolve more quickly - but we were wrong! We enjoyed practising our catching, kicking and ball control in PE. Our school lunches began this week and they are a big hit!
