A short week but we made use of the sunny weather! The children in 1st class could not get their solar powered car to move so after a bit of tweaking and the sunny day we finally got it going 😀- anyone want anything from the shops? It should be there by about next Tuesday!! Still, it was very cool to get it going at last.
We were working on number in maths and the juniors were working on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd so they had to make paper aeroplanes too like the seniors last week.
1st class were looking at maps and we looked at Ballinacarrow- some of the children found their houses.
We enjoyed the ceili mór in the yard as part of our Gaeilge celebrations.
We also enjoyed Gaelic training with Ciara and then first class were busy gardening - we planted Lavender bushes and Sweet Peas as well as scattering some wild flower seeds.
