This week we celebrated maths week in the Junior Room by participating in an online quiz. It was great fun and we practised using our skills and maths eyes 👀. We also enjoyed the cake shop , buying lots of tasty treats and making sure we got our correct change! We had to wait all week for our turn to be shop keepers but we managed to sell out all our stock! It was very exciting.
We made puppets for the book Room on the Broom and acted it out in drama. This was great fun. It was great to meet our reading buddies again and hear some good stories.
In art we made some chalk monsters - although we looked at bit like chalk monsters ourselves by the end of it!
We also enjoyed dance with Angel.
We looked at plant samples from the hedgerow and chose our favourite Irish wildflowers.
Finally we decorated our hallway ready for a spooky Halloween 👻 🎃
