📚 We had a visit from Sarah who works in Ballymote Library to tell us all about Summer Stars 2026. There are prizes available every time you visit the library over the summer. There are also lots of activities from board games, arts and crafts and also a World Cup of football heroes. Just go along to any library and sign up. You can get a library card and borrow up to 12 books. All for free!!!
Some tips for reading over the summer:
1.Visit your local library
2. Visit a different library! There are 4 libraries in Co. Sligo - Ballymote, Tobercurry, Sligo and Enniscrone.
3. Choose somewhere unusual to read!
4. Read with someone or to someone
5. Read a recipe.
6. Draw some of your favourite book
characters.
7. Charity shops are great places to pick up books.
8. Reread your favourite book
9. Read a joke book
10. Order some books from the library - ask the librarians for recommendations!
