Books, books, books!πŸ“š

This week in preparation for World Book Day, we picked out our favourite books from the school library and wrote book reviews.
It was an impressive collection.
We had Dirty Bertie, Tom Gates, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Dork Diaries, Horrid Henry, Dogman, Bumble and Snug and more.
Its lovely to spend time reading and let our imaginations wander. πŸ“š

We also finished planting and labelling our family trees in the school garden. Thank you Trisha for your great help.

Congratulations to the children in second class who received the Sacrament of Reconciliation in Ballinacarrow Church on Wednesday evening.
Thank you to both Fr.Martin and Fr.Finan for making the ceremony so meaningful and special.

We also  continued with lots of band practice during the week too. Well done children,  just over one week left before our big parade.
Keep it up the super effort.
