This week in the Junior Room we have been learning a new song and a dance to go with it, we are learning "Fight Song" and the children are picking up the moves more quickly than the teacher! There was no Gaelic training on Monday so we had a great game of "hot potato " -trying to pass the ball quickly. In our oral language we used microphones to present the news - some future news readers in the making. 1st class conducted 2 science experiments this week- we looked at how air can make things move and at how 1 litre of water makes different shapes in puddles but it's still the same amount of liquid. 1st class have also been learning to regroup in maths. In the oral language for 1st class we were talking about GAA so got to practice our skills outside. We all enjoyed gymnastics again this week and after our warm ups we were using balance beams.
