Today 3 members of the Green schools committee represented our school in Claremorris as we were awarded our 9th Green Flag. To be awarded a flag takes 2 years of hard work. To receive our 9th flag means we have been working hard on environmental issues for 18 years! This year's flag was on the theme of Global Citizenship and travel. We undertook campaigns on speeding traffic on the N17 as well as looking at the transportation of food, we did scooter and cycle workshops and a campaign of "no idling". We were delighted to achieve our 9th flag.
