The middle room headed off to Ballymote library today to celebrate “world book day” with the author Erika McGann.
She shared lots of adventure stories about her book called “Chasing the Shy town”— which is about a paper plane character who travels the world. We learned about talking trees, maple syrup swimming pools and lightning cities. Did you know that Unicorns are the national animal of Scotland?
We had a chance to look at the wide variety of books. Pop by Ballymote library any time and check out a new book. A great family activity on a rainy day. They made us feel very welcome and we hope to visit again!
