2nd, 3rd and 4th Classroom
29th May 2025
We had gardening, gaelic, gymnastics, debating and library this week.
In Science, we were learning about wildflowers and the importance of pollinators.
To help our school biodiversity, we planted some herbs.
Another addition to our school garden and well done to our wonderful and attentive gardening club members and Trisha who are looking after our thriving plants and flowers.
We also had time spotting wildflowers in our school grounds.
We had a very interesting debate in our persuasive writing and oral language lessons this week.
We debated the motion 'Is money the most important thing".
The class brainstormed ideas for and against the motion and then we took a class vote.
The majority of the children voted in favour of the motion and well done to all who presented their persuasive writing.
We enjoyed a fun and energetic gymnastics lesson and a Gaelic training session to start our week.
We also enjoyed some calm reading time with our library books 📚
