2nd, 3rd and 4th
20th Nov 2025
We have been very busy in the middle classroom this week.
In Maths all classes were using our concrete materials to consolidate our understanding of division and regrouping.
4th class are also using their calculators to check their calculations and self correct.
In P.E we have been focusing on our ball handling skills and passing. Some great skill, spatial awareness and pace were on display in our dodgeball games. Well done π
For Science Week, we investigated which materials were the best heat conductors to melt some tasty chocolate buttons! We also planted some bulbs. πΊ
In History, we finished our work on the Great Irish Famine with some group work projects and in our genre writing we were recounting the fate of the Titanic. Well done to the children who presented their recounts and projects so articulately.
On Tuesday, First and Second enjoyed their session at the Lego Club and on Wednesday, we continued with our Reading Buddies.
We even had time for a little fun at the end!
Super participation children, well done ππ
